RAR to CSV Converter Using cURL and REST Calls
Tabular data often arrives compressed. A supplier export, a report bundle or a monthly extract is packed into a RAR archive to reduce transfer size, and the numbers remain unavailable until the container is opened.
CSV is the format every analysis tool reads. A spreadsheet, a database import and a script all accept plain rows and separated values, with no dependency on the application that produced the original file.
GroupDocs.Conversion Cloud handles both steps behind one REST endpoint. A cURL request uploads the RAR file, names CSV as the target and downloads the result, which makes the conversion easy to place inside a shell script, a cron job or a build pipeline where no SDK is wanted.
Access is granted by a Client ID and Secret exchanged for a token, and the same endpoint reaches more than 153 formats, so a script written for this pair needs only a different target value to produce something else. The API Explorer shows each parameter before the first command is written.
