ODG to PPT and PPTX: .NET Drawing to Slide Converter
An ODG file comes out of LibreOffice Draw or Apache OpenOffice Draw. It carries vector shapes, connectors, text boxes and placed pictures across one or more pages, which suits diagrams, floor plans and posters.
PowerPoint does not read that format, so a diagram drawn in Draw stops at the first colleague who works in Microsoft Office. Converting to PPT or PPTX moves the artwork into a deck, where each page arrives as a slide and can be presented or reworked.
GroupDocs.Conversion Cloud performs that step over REST. Send the ODG file, name PPT or PPTX as the target, and receive the deck. Selected pages or a page range can be converted instead of the whole drawing, and a watermark or a password may be set on the deck.
