SCRIPT Viewer API for Android - Display Any Script File
The SCRIPT extension marks a generic script file. Different tools use it for shell commands, installer steps or application macros, so no single program is responsible for the format. What the files share is plain text content that someone eventually needs to read.
That makes them a good match for GroupDocs.Viewer Cloud. The REST service accepts whatever the file holds, arranges the text on the server, and replies with HTML markup, a PDF file, or a PNG or JPG image of every page. Nothing is interpreted or executed, so an unknown script can be inspected safely.
The Android SDK for Java, distributed through Maven and Gradle, wraps authentication and rendering in a few calls, and the samples demonstrate thumbnails, zoom, moving between pages and asking for one page alone. The API Explorer tries every endpoint in a browser, and the free trial is enough for a first project.
